Curriculum Vitae

1986-90 student of George Kuchar and actor in his films at SFAI. Shows at ATA, No Nothing Cinema, Das Klub and outdoor pirate projections.
1989 Berlin street cowboy performances and films.
1990 BFA from SFAI.
1991-92 Kickboxing studies, performances and documentation. Develop script for feature film Rocket Babydolls. Acting in Cyrus Amini’s film “Chicken Village” screen at Chicago Underground Film Festival.
1993-94 Commissioned by ZDF (2nd German Television) to produce, direct and star in RBD. Films broadcast throughout Europe on ZDF, ARTE, etc.
1995 Research and travel that includes working as fisherman in Alaska, councilor in juvenile detention facility “Vision Quest” in Arizona, asylum for disturbed children in SF and continued kickboxing studies and performances in Thailand. Documentation of research into street scene in Bangkok sex industry area (The Bangkok Tapes and WE).
1996 Mexico surfing and writing script for TV movie Slow Motion Apocalypse.
1997 ZDF commission to write, producing and directing the feature “Acts of Sabotage.”
1998 Acts of Sabotage broadcast throughout Europe ZDF, ARTE, FAF film festival, LA underground…
1999 Guest Lecturer at SFAI New Genres Department. Film and video works shown at ATA, 16th st Gallery. Collaborate with Jesus Aceveda on “Tudo Azul” script development. Budapest collaborations with Ribbonthrober, Csaba and Frankie.
2000 Part of group show “Americas Not funny Videos” curator, Tony Labat and broadcast on Canadian TV and ATA. Group show organized by Daniella Salvioni tours Kunsthalle in Germany, Austria, Switzerland.
2001Mexico writing retreat. Develop feature script. Move to NZ and live in the middle of the forest in a cabin with wife, chickens, garden.
2002 Do nothing. Graduate studies in Philosophy at CEU. Budapest Anti Pessimism tour. Ribbbonthrober music videos. Collaborations with Csaba. "Special Advisor'" on FAUSTO,directed by Ramon Churruca, color 16mm/DV. Bilbao and San Sebastian film festivals
2003 -06 Landscapers Anonymous project, public performance and video documentation. Collaboration with Cyrus Amini on “25 cent preview” performing and script development. 25 cent premiers at SF Independent festival, Frameline, and festivals in London, Prague, etc. Awards and honors. Graduate studies in Philosophy at UC Berkley.
2007 TIBA Bio architecture video and personal development projects with Johan and Peter Van Lengen in Brazil. Guest Faculty at SFAI New Genres department teaching Guerrilla Video Production.
